For those who wish to sponsor a camper or donate to Wirraway, donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
You may sponsor a camper who otherwise would not be able to afford to come to camp (usually this is used for school holiday camps, though we do offer schools from low socio-economic areas reductions of their fees in special circumstances).
Also, we are always happy to receive donations towards the many projects that we are keen to get started, we normally do not go ahead until we can fully pay for any work/new activity we undertake. We keep our fees to a minimum to ensure all who want to come to a Wirraway camp will be able to afford to attend, but this means we depend on you for support of capital projects (or buying new horses/setting up new activities etc.)
Remember the donations are tax deductible. Please contact the Wirraway Office 8536 6063 or send us a cheque (Box 209, Strathalbyn 5255) including the name you want the receipt to be made out to, and your address.
This year the Morialta Trust has given us significant funds to help with camps fees for those on lower incomes. This will mean reduction of camp fees on Musters – the amount of the reduction will depend on the length of the camp and be available for those with pension cards or health care cards. Please contact our office if you require some more information about this (or enquire when you book for a camp).
