Activities
Activities at Wirraway are run by experienced and qualified staff and include horse riding (visit our ‘Horses’ page for more information about our Horses), rock climbing, archery, trampolines, swimming, initiatives and a ropes course. For some camps (depending on the programme) we also run orienteering, long distance archery, hikes, and an educational tool to explain the sun and stars and how they work, called Pipehenge.
Free time activities include mini golf, volleyball, basketball and some indoor games including eight ball and table tennis in our ‘Livery Stable’.
Sheep
Herding Sheep is a LOT of fun and a great way to build teamwork. Sheep are well-known for wanting to go their own way and are governed by the herd. We have 14 sheep on our property and a specific area for this activity. Campers have great fun while trying to herd those crazy critters into pens, split the sheep into groups, have one separated from the herd and more, all while working in teams.
