Tuesday to Thursday Program Example
Activities:
- Tenting/solo tent camping
- Campfire/triangia/damper cooking
- Mountain biking
- Sheep mustering
- Orienteering
- Indigenous history/art or craft
- Introduction to horses
- Whip cracking
- Shelter building
- Bush walking
- Long range archery
- Scrub research on our approx. 10 acres of Heritage-listed scrub, and more…
Wirraway ‘Outback Camp’ provides:
- Full catering
- All the tents (3-person+bags) your group requires
- Simple foam mattresses for each student (please note, all other bedding must be supplied by students)
- Competitive Prices!
Facilities:
- 20+ acres of grass and bush land
- Large shelter and fireplace with outdoor seating
- Male and female toilets with hand basins (please note, there are no showers)
- Outdoor kitchen
- Small equipment shed
- ‘Pump Track’ and 3km single track. Mountain bikes supplied by ‘Bike About’ (cost included)
- Area for whip cracking and associated equipment
- Area for shelter building
- ‘Flag points’ for orienteering, compasses and maps, and a Heritage-listed scrub walk with markers.
