• Wirraway has a training camp, held each year in December, where people can come and train to be volunteers as bunkhouse leaders, kitchen hands and horse helpers.

December Every Year

Friday 8:00pm – Sunday 4:30pm Cost: TBA

• Minimum ages for training are : Bunkhouse Leaders (15 and up) , Horse Helps and Kitchen hands (strictly 13 and up).
• On completing the training, volunteers can then get involved in our school holiday programme throughout the year.
• Please note that all our volunteers at Wirraway aged 15 and older are required to have anational police clearance certificate – the details will be sent to you on your application for the training – this is free for volunteers.
• Potential bunkhouse leaders please check out our REFRESH CAMPS if you can’t make this December camp – we are always keen to hear from people interested in leading.
