About Us
Wirraway Homestead Youth Centre is a nondenominational, not-for-profit holiday camp, which runs throughout the year for young people 10 years and over. It offers an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities on 70 ha of countryside, staying in buildings arranged in a beautiful “old world” setting, and to hear what Christians believe in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Experienced staff organise the activities, cater, and run all aspects of the programme.

School Groups
The camp is available to school groups for 3, 4 or 5 day camps on weekdays during term time. If you are a teacher and require more details on our school camps please see the School Information page.
Weekends
Group bookings may be made for weekend camps which run from Friday night at 8 pm to Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm. There is limited availability for these camps.
Musters
Individual bookings are taken for 6 & 4 day camps (called “Musters”) which run throughout every school holidays. Check out the Musters page for more information and dates, prices and age ranges of these camps.
Activities Included
Horse riding, archery, ropes course, trampolines, swimming pool, volley ball, flying fox, rock climbing, mini golf, etc. Indoor games such as table tennis and eight ball are also available. The snack bar opens daily and sells sweets, drinks, Bibles, badges and magnets… for photos of activities check out the Activities pages.
Christianity
During the camp the staff will talk about what Christians believe and how Christianity is vital to their lives and relevant today. This part of the programme is for people from all backgrounds.
About the staff
Wirraway staff are involved throughout the daily programme and are qualified and experienced in their area, such as instructing and supervising in rock climbing, horse riding, archery, ropes course, swimming, trampolining and the flying fox. All of our staff have senior first aid qualifications.
Wirraway is also a registered training organisation, training staff from other campsites (and elsewhere) in certificates in
Outdoor Recreation. Horse instructors at Wirraway are accredited (or in training) with Horse Safety Australia.
All of our staff have current national police clearance certificates.
